New Image Construction... From A to Z

A Little About Me

At a very young age I learned to love working with my hands (as you can see from the picture below!). From playing in my grandfather's workshop to building treehouse forts with my cousins and ramps for my bmx bike, I was always 'working' on something. I guess you could say I was all boy - I'm sure my parents would agree!

In my teenage years I began working construction, remodeling houses here in Chattanooga. I learned so much during those years and I am forever grateful for the time my boss took to teach and show me the ropes of the construction industry. When I was 20, I fell through a roof, nearly losing my life. I tell you this because it is such an instrumental part of who I am and my story. That fall, which nearly cost me my arm and my life, led me back to The Lord and challenged me to fully rely on Him. I was told I would never swing a hammer again...but God had other plans! Since that pivotal - life changing moment, I made a decision that I would always put God first in my life and my business. As a reflection of that, I try to always do right by and take care of my customers. Because customers are such a vital part of my business, I think they deserve complete honesty throughout the entire building process - one of the reasons my motto is "We take pride in your satisfaction". Why New Image Construction Is Unique?

For most of the following blog posts I'm gonna let you in on some of the thought process behind our design team - they don't say it's all in the details for nothing! Today, I'm going to show you some design details on J's house (names will never be used in order to respect and protect the privacy of my customers).

J's house is what I like to call 'Rustic Craftsman'. In an effort to keep with the theme, wow the customer, and still stay within budget, our design team collaborated with J to develop several unique characteristics such as...
